The Scrapstore
The Scrapstore is the name for our Retail Space within the Hub Café. It holds a Scrapstore where you can purchase a basket of scrap materials for £8.50 (or just negotiate for a few items) as well as priced items such as fabric by the metre or arts and craft materials to help you complete that creative project, whether for school, a kids party or a something for home at low cost with no membership required.

Our Displays
We will always exhibit our Trainees work within the Scrapstore and sometimes that of our partners too. The displays change with the seasons, holidays, and celebrations so there is always something new to inspire our customers.

How does the Scrapstore help the Hub?
The Scrapstore provides another form of valuable income to put back into the Hub to assist our trainees. The Scrapstore also offers invaluable work experience for Trainees in a retail environment, whether sorting through donations, re-stocking shelves, displaying the merchandise, serving customers or helping with pricing. For other trainees, the Scrapstore is a space where they will display items designed and made in their Make to Sell session, which we will then sell to generate extra income for the Hub.
Scrap
Non industrial, clean waste such as packaging, samples, ex stock or recycled craft materials that can be re-imagined or re-used.
Art & Crafting
To complement the scrap we have a range of quality arts and craft items for sale including balls of wool, scrapbooking paper, stamps, paint, ink, craft books and magazines.
Haberdashery
From fabric on the roll, to fabric squares, buttons, thread and dress making patterns
Trace
Trace is our very own shop-in-a-shop, selling donated, upcycled, or products made by our trainees in house, we even throw in the occasional collaboration.

Business Donations
Do you have unused materials or items as a by product of your business? Could they be repurposed for another use Please get in touch if you think you might have items to offer the Scrapstore and we can arrange collection.
